Customized Solutions to Improve Customer Results
Alaska National is a California workers' compensation specialist. We focus on large, complex accounts that produce enough premium to cover exposure. We are passionate about personalized services to improve safety and help injured workers recover and return to work. All of this achieves better outcomes and superior results for our customers.
Dedicated Service Team
Each account receives a dedicated service team, led by an executive customer advocate. At the core of every team is a loss control consultant to reduce frequency and severity of losses, a dedicated claims examiner to ensure every injured worker experiences the best path of care, and an account underwriter to fully anticipate your evolving needs.
The Best Path of Care
Experience the best path of care when claims occur. Alaska National's service team model delivers extraordinary service and seamless care to customers and their injured workers for the duration of their recovery.
We average 65-75 cases per adjuster to allow our service teams close communication and coordination with the injured worker, their medical provider, and their employer. Throughout the recovery process we ensure each worker is properly treated, physically recovered, and safely returned to work as soon as possible.
24/7 Injury Helpline
Immediate telephone access to professional nurses trained to determine the best level of care for an injured worker, such as first aid or referral to designated clinics when necessary.
Individualized Loss Control Programs
Customized solutions targeted towards fewer losses, smaller claims and better outcomes through effective workplace safety and return to work programs.
Custom California Medical Provider Network
Control claims costs and achieve better outcomes for injured workers through our custom network of medical providers.
Issued immediately following Helpline calls that result in clinic visits, Care Passes expedite care and ensure injured workers are able to fill their first prescription.
Direct access for injured workers including prescription cards, indemnity payment information, and adjuster contact information to ensure they have pertinent information with them at all times.
Return to Work Programs
Return to Work programs provide the option of using work as therapy. When transitional duties become an extension of the medical treatment process, they can accelerate recovery, decrease medical expenses, and may result in a reduction of the severity of claims.
Vehicle monitoring and online training system to keep fleet drivers focused on safety.
