Alaska National views the insurance policy not just as a business contract, but also as an opportunity to partner with our customers in establishing and maintaining the profitability and success of their businesses. A major part of that success depends on proper claims management, which includes making our policyholders whole when they incur losses, controlling claims costs, setting accurate, timely reserves and protecting the interests of our policyholders when claims are filed against them.

We maintain a staff of highly trained claims professionals with the technical knowledge and expertise to deal with the variety of claims presented under the coverages we make available, including commercial property, general liability, business auto and garage liability and inland marine. Our Claims Examiners have the lowest caseloads in the industry and are each supported by a Claims Assistant. This allows our claims handlers to give every customer the consideration it deserves and every claim the attention necessary to bring it to a satisfactory conclusion.
