Liability

Our Liability Claims Examiners are conversant with all aspects of tort law and skilled in loss investigation and evaluation of liability and damages. They promptly investigate claims filed against our policyholders and make an objective determination of liability. If they conclude that our policyholder is responsible for a loss, they resolve the claim quickly and fairly. If they determine that our policyholder is not responsible for a loss they defend that policyholder against the claim. If a lawsuit is filed they work with competent, experienced defense counsel to protect the policyholder's interests. We believe that we should pay what is owed and what is fair but no more. This philosophy assists in keeping our policyholders' costs and premiums at a reasonable level.
