Alaska National Insurance Company was founded in 1980 when several Anchorage business entrepreneurs, each with a particular expertise in corporate finance and insurance, joined together to establish a dependable resource to respond to the commercial insurance needs of Alaska’s growing industries and expanding business community.

The driving vision for this new venture was both simple and direct: Provide Alaska businesses with financially secure risk protection, supported by consistently superior underwriting, loss control, claims and premium audit service.
